Cesc Fabregas Praises All-Action Midfielder For Transforming Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has praised his compatriot N’Golo Kante for being one of the outstanding players in the Chelsea team this season.

The Frenchman moved from Leicester City in the summer for around £ 32 million. He was signed by the blues on the back of an impressive campaign with Leicester City in which he managed to win the Premier League title with the unexpected outfit.Kante has proved that he was a vital member in the Leicester City team, as the reigning champions are now struggling down near the bottom of the table without the 25-year-old.

Kante has been industrious in his work rate, while he has also allowed the creative players to get on with their jobs. Fabregas may have lost his first-team spot as a result ofKante, but he is holding grudges against the 25-year-old. He says that it is important that Chelsea regained the Premier League title after a disappointing campaign in which the club finished outside the Europa League qualification places last season.

The blues are on course to securing a fifth Premier League title in the club’s history, as they opened a 10 point advantage over Tottenham and Manchester City.Fabregas may not have played much, but he has contributed immensely through three goals and seven assists in seven starts and 11 substitute appearances.

"Every player is doing good. He has come in this year and done well. Two years ago we won the league and other players played so it's all about the team and the mentality, the will that we want to show every game to win.And the rest is not important. The most important is that we keep Chelsea at the top of the table and that we fight for the title until the end," said Fabregas after the win over Swansea.
