Antonio Conte actually has plans for Cesc Fabregas

For the first time since Cesc Fabregas arrived to Chelsea back on June of 2014, he has turned into a substitute player as the Spanish midfielder was dropped to the sidelines for the majority of this recently concluded season of 2016-17.

The Premier League season of 2016-17 saw Chelsea claiming the domestic league title in a very dominating way as they were in pole position of the top tier English competition for the majority of the campaign and was eventually crowned as the champions of England.

There is no doubt whatsoever that Antonio Conte is one of the best managers in the sport as his debut season in Stamford Bridge was hugely impressive.

Unfortunately for Cesc Fabregas, the arrival of Antonio Conte saw the Spanish player being dropped to the sidelines as most of his appearances during the season of 2016-17 came from the bench.

Fabregas made a total of 29 Premier League appearances in this recently concluded season which is actually a very high amount of matches played but 16 of them arrived from the bench as he was not a regular starter.

Considering the recent drop of Cesc Fabregas to the sidelines, rumors began to emerge suggesting that the experienced player was interested in making a move to a club where he can re-gain his 1st team starting role but it has been reported that Antonio Conte does indeed have plans for Fabregas and his future is tightly secured in Stamford Bridge unless a significantly large and tempting offer is made during this summer transfer window.

There are various clubs that have shown interest in signing Fabregas including: Manchester United, Ac.Milan, Juventus and PSG just to name a few but unless they release a really good offer, it seems like Fabregas will be sticking with Chelsea for the long-term future.
