ARSENAL: NWANERI TIPPED TO SURPASS CESC

Arsenal teenager Ethan Nwaneri has been tipped to surpass the achievements of Cesc Fabregas at the club. This is according to the report from the stables of the Daily Mail which revealed thatinsiders at Arsenal believe that Nwaneri has the potential to even achieve more than Cesc Fabregas after he beat his record as the youngest player to represent the Gunners when he came on as a late substitute during the Premier League clash with fellow London team Brentford on Sunday.

Nwaneri made a cameo appearance for his Premier League and Arsenal debut at the age of 15 as he broke the record set by Cesc Fabregas who was 16 when he made his debut for the Gunners almost two decades ago.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta introduced teenagerNwaneriinto the game against the Bees when the result was beyond any reasonable doubt. He came on for Portuguese star Fabio Vieira at the start of stoppage time with Arsenal leading three-nil. Nwaneri was able to set a new record in the Premier League for the youngest player to make an appearance in the competition.
The Gunners made light work of Brentford to return to the Premier League summit and also hand a first defeat to their opponents at the G-tech Community Stadium this season. The Bees had been very strong at home in the Premier League this season with two wins and one draw from three matches before the visit of Arsenal. The pressure was on Arsenal to return to the top of the table after they were surpassed by both defending champions Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur on the Premier League log after their respective wins over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City. The Gunners established a two-goal advantage in the first half through the goals from William Saliba and Gabriel Jesus before the aforementioned Vieira sealed the win at the start of the second half.
