FABREGAS SINGS FORMER TEAMMATE RAMOS' PRAISES

Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has become the latest player to sing the praises of Sergio Ramos as the Spain international defender continues to receive offers from several clubs this summer. Ramos will be leaving Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid at the end of this month after spending over 16 years of his career at the club and since both he and the club dropped the bombshell via their respective official announcements, a lot of clubs across Europe have been queueing up as they try to convince him to sign for them.

Since it was officially made public that he would be leaving Real Madrid, several football players (both present and past) have been speaking highly of him and the plenty of success that he has already achieved during his stay at the Spanish capital. And now, his former Spain international teammate Cesc Fabregas has become the latest player to do so. According to L'Equipe, Fabregas has hailed Ramos and not only labeled him as one of the best defenders in the history of football but also one of the best teammates he has ever had and played with.

Fabregas has had quite a career that has seen him play with a lot of great players of the sport, having played for the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea, AS Monaco (currently), and Spain his country. But the midfielder says despite playing alongside a number of top players in his career, Ramos remains one of the best he has ever played with and against

The World Cup winner revealed this in one of his random Question and Answer sessions via his official Twitter page and went on to congratulate the defender for the trophies he has won in his career, including the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League, the Spanish La Liga, the UEFA Super Cup, among others
