Chelsea boss José Mourinho has accepted that Cesc Fabregas was easily the best player on the pitch in the club’s opening Premier league match of the season against Burnley. Chelsea conceded an early goal that threatened to disrupt their positive start to the season, but they stunned their opposition with a brilliant first half in which they were almost unstoppable. Three goals inside 20 minutes asserted their superiority in the match and allowed the players to have a relaxed second-half. Fabregas recently admitted that he watches Premier League and especially those matches of the league in which Arsenal is playing. He is absolutely excited to witness how the league results turn out to be this season.
Cesc Fabregas has denied the reports of him not happy after being called back into the dugout by the Barcelona manager towards the end of the game against Levante.
Fabregas had started that match and was looking in fine touch. It seemed he would play the entire game, but, surprisingly, Gerardo Martino who is in charge at Barcelona at the moment decided to take him off with about 17 minutes remaining.
After playing with Arsenal 8 years, the Spanish midfielder made his move to Barcelona on August of 2011 in what was one of the longest transfer sagas in modern times. Even though the transfer was completed some time ago, Jack Wilshere wrote on Arsenal’s website that the departure of Fabregas made him more upset than anything else.
